I need to put e on neondystopia.world for a while (thank you @xaetacore for hosting) because, while I appreciate and adore @p for hosting her thus far, it can be tough to ensure MP3s she uploads are immediately playable to people on the other end.

@vii@dsmc.space @p@fsebugoutzone.org We also offer video.neondystopia.world for more permanence, while this does not have a CDN we have a very fast proxy and fiber optic connection to the proxy and beyond
The sole reason for the proxy is to get around the upload limit of our CDN, the main site is at the CDN so should be fully covered :)
Feel free to make an account ^^

@vii@dsmc.space @p@fsebugoutzone.org Do you have a CDN for Bugout Zone?
Or is there something we could do to help?

@vii @xaetacore Scraper's nearly given up; should be working now. But neondystopia's a respectable server.

@xaetacore @vii Appreciated. Basically, FSE's issue is that media.fse hosts FediList data and exits through the same IP and the pipe on that box was getting saturated by a particularly persistent scraper that has been the bane of my existence for a couple of months because he's got a massive army of residential proxies. It's mitigated now (and the mitigation had the side effect of conclusively demonstrating what looked to be the case before, that it was just one guy). We killed off about 1.5m IPs and for the last few days, it has still been hitting us from at least 1.4 new IPs per minute but it mostly died down over the weekend.

@xaetacore @vii I did a larger post when I first got a workable mitigation (and attached Anal Cunt's excellent track, "Kicking Your Ass and Fucking Your Bitch". This guy apparently has a budget for infinite residential proxies.

@vii @xaetacore Actually, it'd probably be funny to block every ASN that has a gmail.com address for the technical contact.
