     Glad you took their advice! I seem to remember you working there. Townsville doesn't usually get too much past 34⁰C - but the "feels like" can be into the high 40s because the humidity is often insanely high. Winter is not much cooler in real terms, but the humidity becomes sane, so I'm told.

     I got myself some (very) mild heat stroke here the other day. Lotsa fluids. Not enough electrolytes. It's a silent killer. I need to remember this because I sweat like crazy.

     Gatorade or similar if there's nothing else. Here we have electrolyte replacement products like Hydrolyte that you can put in your water bottle (some with glucose etc, some without) both in sachet form and effervescent tablets...
