   @NatureMC There has been some counter arguments about this topic from researchers in the Global South: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41559-023-02102-z

   For every species named after an Eugenicist, there are species named after pioneer scientists from the global south. (And David Bowie, he has so many species dedicated to him (mostly just from a single taxonomist))
