     @inthehands @heidilifeldman The one in Chester, NY is also being actively opposed by the (republican) county executive of the county, and basically the entire community there, there was a rally about it a couple days ago ( https://spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/central-ny/news/2026/01/30/chester-ice-facility-protest )

     Local political pressure shut that down too.
