   @chartier If you place it close enough to the edge it does work as Jess reports. I wouldn't call it secure though.

     Jess just discovered she can place her #Apple Pencil on the edge of her iPad mini Smart Cover and it seems to be a relatively secure connection for magnets. Does anyone know if this is intended behavior?

     Doesn’t seem to work with my M4 iPad Pro and updated Magic Keyboard. Maybe it’s just a Smart Cover thing.
