     @thomasfuchs Be interested to hear how that eventually works out, and what you use. I've got some CDs in the box of media in the basement (which I'm eternally grateful I didn't get around to selling) which are a little worse for wear.

     @thomasfuchs weird question… do you have a non-CD ROM CD player? I’ve found some damaged CDs will play fine in a normal music CD player that barf in CDROM drives.

     @thomasfuchs so, like some sort of polishing or resurfacing kit for the physical (optical) restoration of the disc? I’d love to see how it goes.

     I want to restart my personal media library with lossless rips and I have quite a few discs that are scratched or marred.
