     I blame Apple. This "simplification" trend ultimately lead to the public at large (save for their deriders and rejects) getting infantilized and the trend started with the iPod.

     @camedei456 @phnt @lea @VD15 I think that has more fault than Apple. Handheld tech is better if it's easier to use. Sure, could have smol stuff like phones with slideout keyboards, but it's still cumbersome. desktops and laptops are for more involved work, tablets and such for other work.

     I know how2computer because I just got one when I was 6 and I was allowed to do whatever the fuck with it, so I managed to get a lotta knowledge. Even so, unless I can get a minilaptop that can make calls, I want my phone to be simple and not complex.
