@maddy I wish non-ADHD people could experience it for just a day. "You only do the things you like". Um, no. Executive dysfunction often keeps me from playing a video game. One iota of friction - even just needing to sign back in, can put it out of reach for an entire day.
I so badly wish NTs could FEEL it, and understnad that no matter how badly I want to do the thing, if ADHD decided no, there is nothing in the world that can make it happen. There's no willing it anyway.

ADHD is SO much more than what it has been portrayed as in popular media, and it can be like pulling teeth trying to get anything more than a questionnaire and a prescription out of a physician.
There's so much more that could be done to educate about and manage it, if only we were more aware, especially with how common it seems to be. -

Oh right, I forgot that ADHD can affect impulse control.
Without any good coping mechanisms for when I'm without meds, that might explain why I'm a little more impulsive than usual. :neofox_woozy:
