-Broken on arrival data, requiring Fix-up tables (FUTs)
-An entire disc's worth of episodes in a single title

-Triple-layer UHD discs are a fuck
-Whatever the hell they did with the Fringe S01 Blu-ray release
-Cheap re-prints of TV seasons on single-layer DVD with even more compression!

-An apathetic industry that doesn't care whether your expensive UHD discs actually play properly or not

Honestly, I think the confidence that came along with realizing I'm trans, breaking down barriers one-by-one in my mind, realizing I had spent most of my life trying to be something I wasn't - that has helped my mental health a lot.

Coming out was a turning point that allowed me to shape me the way that I wanted. I haven't figured it all out yet, but I'm working through it with open eyes and an open mind. :heart_trans:

It was scary as fuck to confront, and it took a long time to even open up to the idea once I started questioning, but it's truly the best thing I've done for myself thus far.

I still have my bad days (as could easily be seen yesterday), but as I've mentioned before, my mental baseline is SO much better than it was, pre-transition. It feels good to be present.

It was WSD. It's always fucking WSD. Why is this garbage the default choice for connectivity when you add a printer in Windows? It's the most unreliable garbage I've ever used.

'Driverless' IPP printing is supported on most new printers you can get these days, and in my testing it works great for basic use cases. Why not have that as the default, then try alternatives if a connection can't be made??? :neofox_confused:

I only found out 'cause a user reported scan to email issues. Found that the exchange endpoint is intermittently unresponsive. Go to admin center, and it's chugging. I try to go to Service Health, and the site looks broken while displaying not much more than an error saying, "We are having trouble getting info about your service incidents, advisories, and history right now. Try again in a few minutes."

I check down detector, and all sorts of MS services have a sharp increase in reported issues.

Their SMTP endpoint is still fucked. Our on-prem exchange still has a bunch of messages in the queue waiting for MS' servers to accept them.

Steamworks? UH, I sure hope it does!

Oh right, I forgot that ADHD can affect impulse control.
Without any good coping mechanisms for when I'm without meds, that might explain why I'm a little more impulsive than usual. :neofox_woozy:

ADHD is SO much more than what it has been portrayed as in popular media, and it can be like pulling teeth trying to get anything more than a questionnaire and a prescription out of a physician.

There's so much more that could be done to educate about and manage it, if only we were more aware, especially with how common it seems to be.

Maddy Lore: I have two phone lines, but not for a reason you might expect.

Our apartment's buzzer works by calling a phone number, and then someone on the receiving end of the call presses a number on the dialpad to unlock the door and let them in the entryway.

Our apartment building's buzzer system only supports phone numbers for the city, so even though I still use a number from my hometown with the same area code, it doesn't work (we've tested this). I had to get another line on a cheap plan just to respond and buzz people in.

When I called the care line for our building to have them change the number for our buzzer, they never completed it. It's been idk how long 'cause of time-blindness and such.

We don't ever have guests. It's really just for pakig.

Maybe I'm a masochist, but anyway I'm fucking around with Windows Vista in a VM. :neofox_laptop:
