Democracy is rule of the average, therefore, for people of higher-than-average intelligence, Democracy is humiliating, because they are effectively ruled over by people less intelligent than themselves.

Corollary: The practice of Politics is how the higher-than-average redeem their self-respect. By reclassifying the lower-than-average as automatons to be manipulated into pre-agreed decisions, governance can once again become the spoils of winning an intellectual game, and those who lose can accept that they were outmaneuvered.

They would tell you that they are taxpayers. They pay taxes on their McDonald's wages.

@r000t Imo, only tax payers should be allowed to vote. The lazy and addicted will always vote for that check, no matter how bad things get. That KKK bastard, LBJ, and same old crew, did exactly what he said he would do. We were already owned by London.

There are high schoolers right now who cannot add two digit numbers, cannot read anything more complex than a takeout menu, and who do whatever social media tells them to do.

They will be allowed to vote in less than 4 years. And tens of millions just like them already can.

Human behavior is incentives. If voting is important to these people, there should be no problem, they'll earn back the vote by hitting the books.
