   so, i have something important to say. on 9th of December 2025, i woke up to someone who stalked me for eight years being inside my home, finding my address through means that are still not fully clear.

   i know that several people reading this have in the past supported her (knowingly or not) or tried to "help" her after they learned of the stalking.

   𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩. your goodwill (or sometimes spinelessness) is being exploited. all you're doing is contributing to harm done in the past.

     if you're wondering why i look down on the concept of "queer community" (it's a demographic, not a community): well, a big part of it is that the number of people who actively tried to be friends both with me and, knowingly, with my stalker is _at least_ four. these are just the ones i know for sure about

     understand this: i am, obviously, upset about the stalking (i should mention that a month before i found her in my home she issued a murder/suicide threat online), but i am lucky slash unlucky to have the background which makes me prepared for that in particular. i'm like, _fine_. i had a script for "home invasion".

     what i was unprepared with is how many people (both over the years and in this particular incident) would coddle and enable the stalker. _that_ ruined my mental health all right

     @whitequark I expect everyone hitting the "favorite" button is feeling stunned by how awful this situation is...

     There's way too many people who need to learn that, sometimes, friendship is an exclusive-or type thing; and that if we fail to acknowledge this, we can enable much, much more harm than we expect. And this applies much more often than we want to admit.

     I hope more people in your life will show that they understand this.

     And I'm glad you're still here.
