I want to support indie studios in the west but some of them are bad about slipping shit into them.
Apparently this is from the main menu of a little Dwarf Fortress clone called Lords and Villeins and it isn't in any of their promotional material. Hard pass.

None of the other RE games were like that so I'd be surprised if it is, but if it is then I'm not buying it lol.

@grizzlywhisker @Deplorable_Degenerate The nips are pretty good at keeping that shit at bay. I could just be on the bird app too much.

@grizzlywhisker @Deplorable_Degenerate Sadly I was already paying for Gamepass and even then it felt bad to play startrash

The only game I bought in 2025 was FromSoftware's Nightreign and I literally just got it during the recent Steam sale lol. I think it's a pretty cool game, but once you've beaten all the bosses there's not much to do. I might pick up RE9 when it comes out because Capcom has a good track record with that series and I liked all the games with Leon.

@grizzlywhisker @Deplorable_Degenerate Been seeing stuff about it possibly being woke slop, but I hope it's not for people buying it.

Idk I think if the prices of games keep going up then people won't buy them. Look how poorly the new Call of Duty game did. I personally don't buy any of this shit so I really don't know.

That is true, zoomers don't have as much disposable income as millennials did and millennials are feeling the pinch too.
They got away with DLC gouging for as long as they did because the economy was doing alright and people could still buy the base game and play it.

Yeah Idk, I personally don't even buy video games for 60$. I just pirate everything and if it's a game I can't pirate or I actually want to play online then I almost always wait until it's on sale. I will buy a new single player FromSoftware game at release for full price because I like their games and they've never released a bad game in my opinion, but there's very few companies I'll do that for. When it comes to a shit ass company like Bethesda, I pirated Oblivion remake and Starfield looked like such trash I didn't even want to pirate it for free lol.

@grizzlywhisker It supposedly was at least playable before. Bethesda has a history of breaking their games with updates. Fallout 4 is the most notably recent time this has happened.

Yeah I heard they put out some fucked up edition of Fallout 4 that broke everyone's mods and now makes you have to pay for mods or something. I hope that company finally dies if they aren't going to get their shit together. I think everyone has piss poor expectations for Elder Scrolls 6 after seeing how low they've stooped, and it probably won't even come out for like 5 years lol. If it's not the corporate greed, then they're inserting fag propaganda and endless brownoid niggers in their games, plus their shit is just plain broken when it comes out. They're lucky they outsourced that Oblivion remake so it was actually successful, but even that game ran like ass on older PCs.

I think I might have that version as well. I remember I bought it on Steam around 2016 so it's probably the same one but I haven't played it in a long time so I don't remember. I assumed Steam Deck would have no issues running a game from 15 years ago, but I guess Bethesda just can't handle optimizing it? Idk.

Somehow Skyrim Special Edition doesn't even run on Steam Deck anymore.
