   I’m convinced: time to resurrect blog.darkuncle.net, set up Ghost on my own server, and start self-hosting things from my house again. This is my only personal tech goal for 2026 thus far. https://www.joanwestenberg.com/the-case-for-blogging-in-the-ruins/

     @darkuncle That entire "Architecture of Attention" section makes me want to stand up, shout at anything that can hear me, and pump my fist in the air. The way she dissects what a blog post is vs what a social media post is... it's sobering.

     @darkuncle By the way, I will vouch for Ghost as I'm using it for 2 of my sites. Ignore the monetization and newsletter hooks if you don't need them; it's just an EASY platform to write on.

     @darkuncle RAD. Good on you!
     I'd like to host a site or two from the new NAS I just built. I sure hope DNS isn't a nightmare like it used to be 20 years ago.

     @killyourfm I’m gonna restart blogs I first posted to 20 years ago, and I’m gonna host out of my house on OpenBSD again 🤌
