   Using adblocker shielded me from how fuckin weird ads are now. I saw one for some gambling mobile game (I guess that’s legal now?) and it’s like they know their target audience is fuckin stupid so most of the ad was just a non-verbal demonstration of how iPhone game make person happy

     Didn't you think that ad was funny? Weird? Annoying? Like idk I'm not even watching the program the ads are in an entire different realm of perception honestly

     @Paultron @swaggboi I too come from a "television as background noise" family and I cannot tell you how much I despise it. I can't be in the room with that shit during family events. I just go a room where TV isn't, you can talk to me there.

     @prettygood @swaggboi @Paultron yeah my grandparents at least have the decency to put on googles weird AI Christmas channel but it’s always got to be on
     
     I can’t really talk 90% of my time I’ve got AirPods in listening to music or YouTube but at least that’s 100% content
