     @evan These days, I have the impression that there are too many good things under attack. So, when I read your sentence, my first thought was "Is there a threat? Oh no, another good thing to be defended". I did not think about the fight for the expansion of its usage, which is presumably a good thing. I believe Humhub instances could be candidates to be enabled to federate, but there might be other platforms where we are presumably better off by their lacking behind to federate.
