     "The Justice Department redacted the names and identifiers of victims. Fox News Digital has learned that the same redaction standards were applied to politically exposed individuals and government officials.

     As others have noted, these redactions appear to be blatantly illegal (assuming Fox News' report is correct)."

     "I'm in a tranche of photos that appear to be from inside one of Epstein's houses.

     They did not de-dupe this, so there's a lot of duplication.

     These are the tactics used by people trying to slow down a document review to hide the good stuff."

     "So I'm searching the newly released files from the DOJ. A note says some docs aren't searchable due to handwriting, but I know from OCR experience that's not how this works.

     Also, there are already errors in the search functionality and they are significant.

     They're going to make us read this shit doc by doc. Like in the days in 1999 when I had to sit in a warehouse outside of St. Louis looking at 750,000 pages by hand."

     Okay, Ben Collins just posted a video showing his search results. It's a 119-page document with page after page after page of completely blacked-out pages. But the header of each page is titled "Grand Jury - NY."

     "Deputy AG Blanche just said the Trump DOJ will miss the Epstein files deadline.

     He says 'several hundred thousand' docs will be released today, 'and then over the next couple weeks, I expect several hundred thousand more.'

     All files are required by law to be released today."

     For the most part these photos are not scandalous in content. It's people talking, taking group photos, just doing normal stuff. The only one even potentially scandalous is Bill Clinton in the hot tub with a redacted-face girl.

     But the thing is, if someone went into Epstein's house, there are undressed girl photos everywhere, especially the bathrooms. And increasing numbers of them the higher the floor. It just seems like you'd know SOMETHING was off.

     So to sum up:
     - new batch of material released including emails contradicting administration's protest of Trump innocence / ignorance, AND
     - it is discovered that at least some of the redactions in the whole documass are simply color-blocked text that can be copy-pasted into visibility.

     [Masnick posted two images, on left a document has heavily blacked-out text but with some highlight selected text, on right same text but all visible. He's copy-pasting poorly redacted text!]
