     I think many, if not most people would do nothing if they didn't have to labor to live. And the "money is plentiful" people probably realize this more quickly than the "money is scarce" people. Put another way, the "money is scarce" people would just take longer to get to that point.
     
     But I haven't read the studies.

     I think in places where money is scarce (e.g. rural 3rd world), UBI has shown to be quite beneficial, however in places where money is plentiful already, it has been shown to just make people sit around and play videa.
