     @codinghorror @eff I mean, we can always quibble about the wording, but the evidence is that this one resonates and has been effective — it's crossed over to normies and I hear it all the time from folks who are nowhere near being in the tech industry. Just the fact that he's on a late night talk show (in the same week that Altman is on the Tonight Show!) is a huge deal. Literally all the rest of us combined have never gotten close to that.

     @codinghorror @Jumpmed @anildash @eff I don't understand this, and if I do I don't like it. Why should the word for "tech platforms trapping customers and then making their products worse and worse" be based off of Saudi Arabia? Seems like a recipe for racism to me
