   This year was bittersweet.

   Pixelfed went mainstream, shipped the mobile apps, Loops grew fast too, our Kickstarter raised over $130k and I gave a keynote talk at FediCon.

   I also lost my baby, Drake.

   I'd trade all my success just to have him back. I do kind of regret being so focused on dev, I should have spent more time with him.

   I miss you so much buddy, may we meet again ❤️

     @dansup I'm so sorry to hear 😢 But you must know that there is another loving soul out there that needs you now. The best way to heal a broken heart is with a new loving puppy that needs a loving daddy in a loving home 🏡 ❤️

     @Ponygirl Yes that is so true, and a few months after that I did get a puppy, we named him Jake.

     The funny thing is that he reminds me so much of Drake, and is so clingy that it warms my heart.

     He is my new best friend, and he's made quite the mark on me, family and friends.
