     Weird how they only give you an option to log out, if you want to delete your account you have to give your date of birth....

     @vegos_f06 Depends on the site. Some sites require you to upload / scan your government ID.
     
     Also, some sites (for example NewEgg) don't (or at least didn't used to) allow account deletion.

     @hauntshade I also had an account for this purpose but I got to much crap posts from there. So I left. I had no problem to delete my account. This might have changed now. 🎄! Fingers crossed for your health!

     @vegos_f06 I was thinking about adding a date that would say I was 200 years old or something 😀

     But since they state "You must provide an accurate date of birth", I assumed they were going to ask for some form of ID (how else are they going to determine it is accurate..), so I decided not to bother clicking the link and just logged out and deleted the app.

     I was mostly using Bluesky to keep track of accounts that aren't on Mastodon, it's annoying, but no big loss.
