     @nike @Codeki right. I mentioned this a while ago, like the guy who wrote some critical textbook on agriculture in the 1950s was a PhD and also head of their football program at the university of nebraska or something.

     I think it's a new generation thing. The average frat bro today has more nerd interests than before. First examples that come to mind are anime and warhammer-- things plenty of frat bros are into today that you wouldn't have seen in older generations.
