Ohhh now I realize I never made American type of apple pie! I have made tarte normande (per wonderful David Lebovitz's recipe: https://www.davidlebovitz.com/aux-pommes-french-apple-tart-tarte-normande/) a couple of times and that comes easy....
But this Bourbon apple pie looks good...
