I know the BoE is supposed to be independent but maybe it would be sensible for the Treasury to listen to what they are saying.

In the FT: 'The financial crisis was obviously quite some time ago now' City minister Lucy Rigby [says]... 'from a narrative point of view, we don’t want banks to be any longer on the naughty step'!
So while workers wages' have still not recovered in real terms to what they were before the financial crisis, even while bankers earn millions in bonuses... a Labour minister wants to use the language of the playground to describe their ill-advised deregulatory push...
