   do people still say "backslash" when speaking URLs ?

     ~20 years ago I worked with people who would pronounce double slashes as "whack whack," like "Go to h-t-t-p whack whack server1.inernal" or like "Do Win+R, go to whack wack server1" for "\\server1" ... I don't hear that very much anymore .. kinda miss it.

     I would if I had occasion to use it, but I rarely do. People don't have shared passwords anymore, which is where that would have been used. Even small shops are all about the single sign-ons and password managers.

     I also remember "bang". Do people still say "bang"?
