     @ombremad While the first reason could be verifiable it does not reference anything in particular we could check. There are also many cases where we remove offending posts on first offense. We moderate carefully to avoid false positives. The other two cited reasons are between personal and ideological and thus not addressable.

     @nileane @ombremad The post was removed in error. Is an unfortunate side effect of having many new moderators. The post was reported by a user implying that it was something that it was not. To be clear I do not believe that the post violated the rules cited in the screenshot, and this was made clear to all of our moderators.

     @Gargron Wouldn't surprise me to see another 1-2M users join before the end of the year.

     But, another number that is not getting as much attention: the number of posts per month. This has jumped from 471M in Sept. to 496M today, and likely to reach 500M by month's end,

     Which, to me at least, is a strong indicator that people aren't just creating accounts, they are sticking around.
