   #Debian #GNU/#Linux is a marvel.

   I just upgraded the second of my remote servers from 12 (Bookworm) to 13 (Trixie).

   The upgrade was flawless, the same as with my desktop, laptop and home server.

   Sincere thanks to the Debian project, another small donation is on its way 🙂

     @ecadre Pitty that Debian is no longer a 100% free software system.

     Upgrading between releases is I think a 20 year old thing now and unrelated to freedom. ... Sadly Debian decided that it is OK to subjugate users, and renegade on a promise to always be 100% free sower.

     @amszmidt I use the Linux-Libre kernel and remove the non-free-firmware repository (and the non-free/contrib repos generally of course).

     I completely agree with you about software freedom and it's a shame that the Debian project voted to change that for firmware.
