@datenwolf @mcfly Infiltrating such projects to insert security vulnerabilities would be funny.

TL;DR: a whole bunch of reactionary tech bros who see that a lot of high-profile new-era FOSS projects that don't align with their own tastes (systemd, Wayland, etc.) also have – by a simple matter of statistics – non-cis, non-allistic developers among their ranks and perceive this as attack on "their" technology.

@datenwolf @mcfly "Our decision-making is based on merit" and "It's explicitly free of any "DEI" or similar discriminatory policies" yet there's a very queer screenshot featured?
This is making my head hurt.

You don't have to infiltrate them. They're incompetent enough, that they're introducing the vulnerabilities themselves. Xorg eventually just decided to totally revert all the changes pushed by metux, due to breaking a lot of things – which now will linger in Xlibre until someone competent fixes it (i.e. never).
Some of those changes are pretty revealing, like showing an utter lack of understanding of basic C bit manipulation operators. Which in a graphics system is troublesome.
