     @hstone519 The troops who fired must be court-martialed. This is a war crime, and they are murderers. Hegseth should face a military tribunal. God damn America.

     @hstone519 Ah. He possibly can't face any military tribunal because we have civilian control of the military, and that would seem like a coup. He can't face criminal consequences because POTUS will pardon him. He, like everyone in the Trump administration, may be above the law. This is a great country, isn't it?

     @steter @hstone519 No such incidents have been punished over the last many decades of the USA rampaging round the world bombing whomever they like. Why would you expect this time to be any different?
