     @jeffowski my mum was a SA soldier and she loved everybody. She was at our house once with one of our foster daughters when that girls father popped in. My mum got on famously with him and afterwards when being told that he had done time for murder said she judged people on what they were not their labels

     I always believed this, but I paused to fact check and the Salvation Army's website seems to think that's not the case:

     I was about to send this to my christian friend (mostly to needle / :trollface: him,) but I wanted to have my facts in hand before I do that. Do you have references for this?

     I know their bible says to do that, but I also know most christians are bad at following their bible so they are eating cheeseburgers, shrimp, and aren't actually wishing death on homosexuals.

     You are literally citing the Salvation Army that they didn’t do anything wrong.

     I bet you believe the cops when they investigate police brutality and say they found nothing.
