   honestly, i don't really think of myself as a socialist or communist anymore. marxist? in terms of my historical and class analysis? sure! in practice, i just kind of support whatever creates the best conditions for trans women and some other queers. i'm not super interested in policy positions or praxis beyond that.
   
   i don't really see revolution in the leninist or maoist or even some anarchist senses as a feasibility. i think people should organize based on what genuinely helps them survive in a world where revolution isn't a given.

     No insane idealism, no revolutionary ideas. The state is supposed to provide people with what they need to live but other than that they can just leave people the fuck alone and don't tell them how to live their lives.

My point is kinda that this political affiliation isn't really a grand idealogy but more like a "I don't really care how we do things as long as everyone is content and things happen democratically and not authoritarian", which kinda seemed fitting.
     
     But if you want to avoid giving things labels that completely fine too.

     @SuperDicq you're kind of missing the point of what i'm saying. i'm not really interested in ideological tendencies. i don't find them particularly useful. it's cool that you are like trying to be helpful and i don't want to like shut you the fuck down or anything, but i'm not searching for some new grand ideology or policy position to wrap my little paws around.
