     Despite this I don't think srht should be excluded from being packaged in distros.

     @icedquinn@blob.cat Drew also very heavily transform reality and ignores facts to fit his narrative. It's the same strategy but applied to a leftist audience.
     
     I once had a genuine conversation with Drew Devault about neurodiversity and autism and why it makes people act like they do, before he was writing his one of his pieces on Richard Stallman.
     
     I explained it to him very well and he even said that I understood where I was coming from, etc.
     
     Then a few days later he publishes his fucking article anyway, doesn't include any of my points (because it didn't fit his narrative) and DELETES the conversation I had with him.
     
     So yeah fuck Drew.

     @SuperDicq i watched him very loosely until he covered a topic that i actually knew about and he misrepresented it horribly. like badly enough it seemed like an intentional disinterpretation to farm right winger engagement.

     like codeberg "we're being assailed by the nazis!" and what actually happened is some people were trolling and it made a volume of cleanup work.

     @xianc78 @SuperDicq i played one of his games in ages past. it was very, very basic. he also made a GUI app builder (i think i paid 5$ or something?) but it never caught on.
     
     the app builder was cool though it would be really nice if we had one (well, ok, GDevelop is close.)

     @SuperDicq @icedquinn He still refuses to acknowledge the fact that the "victim" of the "who/cares" incident probably wasn't even trans/non-binary (they didn't even take their own pronouns seriously and was probably just a troll) despite him clearly reading Vaxry's blogpost and even referencing it at one point.

     People should NEVER let that one down. Drew DeVault probably ruined the potential future careers of many people contributing to that project in hopes to put it on a resume regardless if they were participating in the locker room behavior or not.

     @icedquinn @SuperDicq lunduke needs to be enjoyed with a grain of salt BUT he doesn't (very thinly veiled) call for people being murdered for having the wrong opinions like the other end of the horseshoe. i like his interviews as well, they are quite fun and well made. some reportîng is bullshit of course, that's the case for everything except gonzo journalism :)

     why one would run shithut python microservice hell instead of fossil is another question :P

     @bonifartius@noauthority.social @icedquinn@blob.cat @SuperDicq@minidisc.tokyo Fossil looks really nice in theory, but sadly I know literally nobody that uses it while avoiding git, so for practical reasons git currently cannot be beat. Its not perfect, but its free software, widespread, and usable enough to get the job done.

     @icedquinn @tyil @SuperDicq fossil neither is perfect, it's a tool. still, fossil has git import/export. if someone REALLY wants to use git for the local fork, that's covered :P
