   i actually do like the idea of my music player showing me lyrics however my ideal version of this is not 'huge text full screen karaoke mode' but rather 'open a plain textbox in a new window with all the lyrics in it'

     i dont really consider "concatenate the string with 'lyrics,' use a search api, and pick the first result with a scrapeable page" an api but im not above anything really

     @mothcompute Although something like a transcript mode could be cool, bonus points with ability to text-search and click/press-enter on the line to seek at the time.
