   I'm listening to Ceol na nGael, the Irish music program from Fordham University. My grandmother and I used to listen to it religiously every week, and then my mother and I did, but I haven't in years! I didn't know it but it''s been around 50 years.

     @Fragglemuppet omg, same in my family. that was a Sunday tradition when I was a kid, and occasionally still is. loved the Irish news and sports at 2. then sometimes you'd leave the radio on too long and end up with German music for a while. lol

     @dotsonapage By the time I was a teenager I wasn't a practicing Catholic, but I would still listen sometimes just to hear him.

     @dotsonapage I did. Bainbridge Ave. Then we moved to Croton. I went to Marymount for a while just as Fordham was taking over.

     @dotsonapage I looked at Manhattanville and a friend of mine got in. Went to visit him once or twice, but I also didn't like the layout.

     @Fragglemuppet nice. I applied to Fordham, really liked it but didn't get in. I got rejected by Loyola too so I joked that the Jesuits didn't like me. lol My brother ended up at Manhattan College, he liked it but don't think I'd've done well there with all those hills.
