     @navi @lanodan Like, this is so obviously the correct solution that I’m pissed I didn’t think about it.

     Although I’m not sure that mdev can chown files in sysfs.

     @whynothugo @navi Probably can with something like SUBSYSTEM=battery;.* root:battery 660

     (in front of desktop right now so can't check the subsystem name)
