     "photographer: professional" is a close second because it is a profession so completely far removed from either respectability or explosives, precursors, and poisons

     although i guess i've known some with a deep familiarity with precusors... just... on the other end of the synthesis chain, if you get my drift

     @whitequark could it be just a dated law? Many chemicals used for analog photography processing can be nasty. I got an old book that contains recipes for various chemicals for development, so it likely that photographers needed that in the past.
