     @mapcar @discatte @joe I owned a Sun Blade 100 that I bought with my graduation gift money when I finished undergrad. I really enjoyed it, aside from the various irritating incompatibilities between Solaris and the GNU tools (at the time).

     @roadriverrail @discatte @joe When I started at university in 1986, we had a fair number of Sun workstations. The two central fileservers were named ‘jupiter’ and ‘saturn’ respectively, for obvious reasons (I think they were also Sun servers of some variety) 😊

     @discatte @mapcar @joe Funny that I never thought of a Sun Blade 100 as being a retrotech nostalgia item! Incidentally, if there's one thing I do recall about my Blade 100, it's that the graphics on it were atrocious. Like...tons of dithering on even basic photographs.
