   (I despise sweet pastries and sweet things for breakfast and prefer to go to bakeries with more than one savory item)

     @skinnylatte oof I really want to offer hidden Oakland tips, and there are like 6 bakeries I go to, but none are good enough. :p

     Did you ever go to Sunday Bakeshop on College? I think it closed about two or more years ago, it would have been my pick. Combined a lot of french pastry with Asian styles, especially savory stuff.

     Maybe check out Forma bakery on Telegraph. I should go back; it was pretty good when I went a while ago but also heavily skewed to croissant dough. I like those pastries but need more dough varieties to embrace a bakery overall.

     Starter on College has more range but also skews to croissant dough and to sweet things.
