@thomasfuchs Sarcasm depends on tone (not available), context (often distant, ambiguous, ignored, or all of the above) or labelling (apparently unpopular).
So I guess we just have to ban written sarcasm, then.

@thomasfuchs I’ve wondered recently why people claim that sarcasm/irony is hard to detect in writing (in internet communication). Both have been used in literature for centuries.
