   Trying to find the most effective local book bank to donate money to or volunteer. This is a typical review:

   "Today was my first visit volunteering and I had a wonderful experience! The facility is HUGE! Parking is easy and it's very convenient to the freeway. Inside, there is a receptionist who greeted me and provided guidance of where my group was, down the hall. The beautiful show kitchen was near the entrance, which was perfect for snapping photos."

   NOT THE INFO I'M LOOKING FOR!

     John Oliver's Last Week Tonight spent hundreds of hours vetting food banks all over the country and came up with a list of the most effective 17 (unfortunately in a thread on twitter from 2020)

     Alas, none were here in Las Vegas and I would like to both donate and volunteer locally

     I just find it weird that the reviews are not about the effectiveness of the food bank but rather how instagram-worthy it is for people who do company-mandated volunteering once a year

     Don't know if this is helpful as an example of a local food bank organization here in Maine. It's the one we donate to every month:
