   Called it a day at the VCF Swap Meet - I’d call it a big success! Sold all but two small items and picked up few things (more on that later). Turnout was good. Prices ranged as usual but there were some deals to be had.

     @RetroFox @storiesofapple Yep! Pioneer made a few PPC clones (and one 68k clone), the person who set up the exhibit was super cool and had more non-Pioneer clones too, I’d tag them but I don’t think they’re on Mastodon.

     @storiesofapple not an expert - BUT - the one on the right is a Pioneer PowerPC clone, the one on the left is a laser disc player meant to be paired with the Pioneer. There have been setups of the same models in action at VCF events.

     I would have to say, this was the table to be at if you wanted Mac stuff today. Guy was selling cheap - That boxed red iMac was $30, the boxed PowerBook under the table was the same price iirc. I didn't take too many photos, too busy at my table, but I'll share an album later.

     I didn't photograph as much this VCF East swap meet, my table kept me busy the bulk of the time. BUT, here's an album of the photos I did grab in the early morning to give you a taste of what was there.

     @mac84tv @RetroFox I knew about the licensed PPCs, but not about the 68k clone. I'd like to know more. 🙏
