@soapone @anemone Like what? Even with medical, it's a tossup if you can get a job after school. I see older guys complain about a shortage of plumbers, but also express their reluctance in training an apprentice. -

I'm teaching a couple friends how to use their CNC mill starting next weektypically machine shops don't like hiring somebody green, but 6months to a year of shop classes will get a good job with an incredible occupation.
It's one of the few things where small business is a vibrant ecosystem in USA. Even a little one-person "business" can easily get work from huge companies. The parts just need to be correct.Forest of Enchantment likes this.
