Brey, they don't come back. They simply do not come back. Nazis do not later on decide that they were wrong about all that Nazi shit. What they do is go very quiet around about the time people start unaliving nazis because "hello? It's fascism and they're fucking FASCISTS" and burn with seething resentment for the rest of their lives, plotting a return of their mythic past and Nazi bullshit - always, every time.

You can't even get rid of them, you can simply make them afraid. That's the SCORE.

@AnarchoNinaWrites Same reason I carry pepper spray instead of relying on "Please don't rape me. Raping me would be wrong."

      You folks aren't getting it.

You cannot CONVINCE a fascist of anything. You cannot show them the error of their ways. You cannot make them come around.

Why? Because they already know you're fucking right. That's why they picked fascism. Because they lost the fucking argument on the merits, and all they have left is fantasy, emotional "truth," and a burning desire to smash anyone who threatens to disturb either - even if by merely existing. They PICKED this.

      They. Don't. Fucking. Come. Back.

So if your plan, to stop fascism, starts with "we must convince the fascists in fascist cult of personality, to stop supporting the fascist government" you do NOT have a FUCKING PLAN to stop fascism.

      It is THAT fucking SIMPLE.

Adjacent - This is the category of what I'm talking about when I say laws are just risk assessment to me. The reasons I don't mow down pedestrians with my car for fun has nothing to do with the fact I'd go to jail.

@AnarchoNinaWrites I remember the phrase "I don't know how to convince you that you should care about other people" going around a lot during the first trump admin and it really describes the problem pretty well
