   @coolboymew @Goalkeeper @aes31494 mind you i usually play super r-type with cheats, mainly keeping my powerups after loosing a live, same with r-type 3, and even then both are fucking brutal cuz of the coin munching design, for enjoyable horizontal shmups i play axelay (tho that has vertical stages) and einhander, if i want to enjoy a vertical shmup it is usually touhou

     @Humpleupagus @Goalkeeper @aes31494 @coolboymew i recently downloaded the R-Types iso for the psx, haven't gotten around to play it yet, got R-Type Dimensions EX, R-Type DX Music Encore and R-Type Delta HD Boosted wishlisted on steam tho.

     I've been slowly playing Metroid Zero Miission on my big screen with a nice crt shader when I have time. I played all of the Castlevanias a while back.
