@shitpisscum @Wiz yeah the electrical is fine i dont get all the concern. i bet if wiz saw the average pensioners apartment in eastern europe he'd have a heart attack from all the extension cords

yea
>i dont think thats a likely issue tbh they make cables for that kind of thing pretty thick
yea, I meant it more like if you really want to be concerned about something at least be concerned about something that can theoretically be a real issue. Aka inspect the cables before use and you should be fine

@shitpisscum @Wiz what do you mean the mains cable on skin? you mean the cord on the magic wand? sorry my british is rusty. i dont think thats a likely issue tbh they make cables for that kind of thing pretty thick and while there could be sweatingness with the massage, hitachi knows what these are really used for come on

@Wiz @ube the thing I am kind of mildly concerned about though is mains cables against bare skin, especially in this kind of setting with sweat and other conductive liquids involved :p

@ube counted at least 4 laptops, 3 wands.

@Wiz @ube 4 laptops, let's assume 100W each but it's probably less. Let's say all of them use some shitty no name chinese flyback PSU's with no PFC and say 150VA per laptop so 600VA (I'm already seriously overestimating the load but whatever).
Don't have any magic wands to test but this manual I found says 10W no load, so a bit more when loaded but probably not much, let's also assume really bad power factor and say 20VA per vibrator, so 60VA. Wands have inductive power factor and switching PSUs slightly capacitive so they should actually cancel out to a degree but let's just add the current draws as if it was DC because fuck it, that's 660VA total.
IIRC these north american baby sockets are rated for 1500VA continuous load so this whole setup is not even a half of the rating of a single socket.
Or is there a type of mains socket that I'm not aware of that can't handle even 1kVA?

@ube I'm concerned about how they're powering all of that plus lights, computers, etc off of power strips. Too much load on one circuit

@Wiz i havent had the magic wand proper but i dont think they pull THAT much current. and the lighst, led, negligable. a bunch of computers prob isnt good though, luckily i only see laptops

@Wiz @shitpisscum @ube these people burn down entire apartment buildings when liberal retards let them immigrate to the USA because these gypsy niggers are too stupid to understand how electricity works when your house isn't made out of 2,000 year old bricks

@shitpisscum @ube @Wiz you're defending whores who are mishandling electrical appliances and behaving in a generally unsafe manner while splashing bodily fluids into extension cords and power strips

@shitpisscum @ube @Wiz that doesn't look so hot fam I mean I guess you don't technically need a ground conductor on that cord because the chassis is non-conductive but I wouldn't exactly use it as a shining beacon of electrical safety
in the USA I use two actual 15-amp power strips on a 20 amp circuit to run the PC and it has nothing to do with my country it's just me knowing how electricity works
what exactly are you doing in this thread, anyway? Do you have national pride that your electrical outlets aren't NEMA-5-15? No, you don't know what that is, and you don't know what standard your outlet is. You don't know how much current you can put through it at all, you don't know a single one of its characteristics except that it's different from America.
You are an absolute shit-for-brains subhuman retard

that's 1100, times 80% yea, again thank god I don't live in a shithole with so shitty electrical system

@shitpisscum @ube @Wiz do you live somewhere the laws of fucking physics are different, retard? It's a 10 amp 110 volt outlet if you plug a power strip into it you can safely use 80% of the output, how many fucking things you can safely plug into a power cord doesn't change depending on how low the average IQ in your neighborhood is you mongoloid

So these things are way shittier than I thought. Thank god I don't live in north America lol

@shitpisscum @ube @Wiz reality check: a macbook pro plugged in and charging consumed 140 watts and a hitachi magic wand is a 120V DC motor AKA an inductive load. Each one pulls upwards of 60 watts and who knows how high the inrush is.
The laptops and magic wands are using upwards of 740 watts out of an available power budget of 800 watts.
