Alexandre Oliva (lxo@gnusocial.net)'s status on Saturday, 19-Nov-2022 02:53:42 JST Alexandre Oliva why do you ask about "more likely"? that doesn't follow from what you're responding to. he can do so, just as much as those who were in that role before, from whom he has recently bought that access. given mandates to maximize shareholder ROI, it is a certainty that earlier administrators were under an obligation to at least consider that possibility and probably conclude that it would indeed give them higher returns. now that twitter is privately-owned, the obligation is no longer there, but the possibility of and the interest in doing so are most likely still there -

Daniel Yeo (yukinosaru@ieji.de)'s status on Saturday, 19-Nov-2022 02:53:50 JST Daniel Yeo A lightbulb moment for me on @aral recent stream is that Musk now has access to *everyone's* DMs. Like every politician. Or CEO. Or activist. Now what's that worth to some other countries?
$44bn suddenly seems like good value...
