   @irelephant Those are still true I think! The "cheap" relays are actually not running the full history or size of Bluesky's relays, and have few people accessing them, afaik

     @irelephant Basically everyone is still downstream from Bluesky, the company's, relay and labeling infrastructure in practice afaik

     @cwebber @irelephant that's probably true for production-quality relays but for little ones I can verify that they're pretty simple - I'm running one in my living room
