     @rwg I'm not new to the Fediverse (and I'm a late member of AOIR, registered recently to attend the conference) but I'm writing a research project about Mastodon and want to read it. Is there any way to buy the digital version in pdf+epub? Or -- will you bring physical copies to Niterói?

     (I'm one of the lucky cariocas who actually live in Niterói, heh)

     @rwg I'm e-book wise, but I have a Kindle 😬😬😬😬 (I'd rather read/ have it outside Amazon 😅)

     The subject of my research is institutional communication on Mastodon (why are there so few public interest accounts here? Brazil is right now discussing digital sovereignty, and we only have @brasiliana - in an AWESOME initiative by @josemurilo btw). If I don't make it to UFF's pg program, I'll probably research it on my own and self-publish in my blog. That's what blogs are for. 😅

     I registered for AOIR online because I'm still negotiating the in-person attendance at work, but being in Niterói, I might step by to say hi (and buy the book). I have 12 days. Let's see.

     The easiest way to get a PDF of the book is if your library has a copy, because Oxford UP provides a PDF version to libraries.

     E-book wise, maybe Kobo is the way to go? I don't think there's an e-pub version, unfortunately.

     I can bring down a physical copy to AoIR if you want to go that route.

     @liaamancio @brasiliana @josemurilo Cool! There's a PhD student at York, Alex Martin, doing similar work on Canadian digital sovereignty and the potential role of federated social media. (In fact, I'm presenting a paper he co-authored with me).
