   I know that once Win10 LTSC's support runs out, I'll probably go back to loonix even though all games have been running worse there with my novideo GPU no matter the distro

     @solidsanek sounds like nvidia alright (amd has its issues too tbh).
     
     You could maybe look at looking glass for gaming, it's some effort but it looks like a rather solid solution

     @solidsanek Yea, tried to delay having to swap as much as possible.
     And the IoT version doesn't have any noteworthy drawbacks for me, so why not?

     @solidsanek it's the most "advanced" setup, and honestly its overkill. Proton is fine for most things, it just sadge that nividojj doesn't have any open drivers for Linux.

     @solidsanek I went out of my way to buy a Radeon GPU so that I can run linux on my gaming box, it’s been a fairly tolerable experience

     @solidsanek Note I absolutely do not want to discourage you from switching back to loonix, but if you use something like Ameliorated https://amelabs.net/ to rip out the Windows Update/telemetry/activation etc systems of win10 and also pay attention to what services are running, a dual-boot setup with unsupported win10/linux becomes a lot more palatable.
