   We should take a moment to appreciate how #gazaVerified shows the potential of the #fediverse. Blocked and suspended on corporate controlled social media, @joynewacc has managed to organise mutual aid for gazans suffering the #gazagenocide with the help of @aral .

   With media of all kinds becoming more controlled and censored, this is a way forward. We need to build the social media to resist genocide, not enable it.
