I'm once again thinking about how the main tragedy of the modern school system is that most people are deprived of the life changing effect of having a genuinely great teacher, and I am once again getting angry at that fact -

@Shadowman311 Idk if you remember anonymousbosch at all, but he and I used to have great conversations about the failings of the public school system since he was a teacher and I was an education major before covid. Truth is, "great teachers" are actively discouraged starting all the way back in education courses in college. The Human Resources ideas of "equity" and "objective fairness" ruined education, just like they ruined everything else. Johnny Peligro repeated this. -

@WoodshopHandman @Shadowman311 multiple of my family members are teachers and I know this first hand and almost everyone who runs anything that's important is some fat middle-aged woman or some geriatric fuck man who has no idea what the fuck is going on.
I caught on to this really early so I would just do the bare minimum and only focus on the things that actually mattered. It was the easiest time in my entire life where I would do the bare minimum and glide through honor classes like absolutely nothing. And because everyone assumed you had to be smart to be in honor classes. I would get praise for basically doing almost nothing other than not being a retard.
Johnny Peligro likes this.
